Picture this. You wake up and get ready for the day. When you finally get upstairs, the kitchen table is covered with red and white lace. In the middle is a huge bouquet of red roses and baby's breath. Conversation hearts, red-hots, and chocolates are scattered all over it, and at each place is a box of chocolates and a sweet, sweet valentine card.
And then for dinner, lots crab and shrimp. MmmmmmmMMMmmmmm...... :]
This was a typical Valentine's Day growing up.
Yup. My parents are my valentines. For as long as I can remember, Valentine's has been a happy day when my parents made sure that we knew they loved us and that we knew they loved each other. I don't think they did it on purpose, but they always left their letters to each other out. And I always read them. That has always been one of the biggest blessings of my life--knowing my parents love each other. :] It's probably the best thing.
Anyways, today's been grand! Full of thoughtful letters, and wonderful things. And Grandma brought me TULIPS! I love tulips! :) I hope your day was as great as mine has been!
